Article Processing Charges(APC)

Tropical Journal of Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology is being run by Siddharth Academy of Medical & Health Sciences Research, Bhopal, India, dedicated to encourage research in the field of Medical and allied health sciences. Due to costs towards article processing, maintenance of paper in secured data storage system, databases and other financial constraints, authors are required to pay four thousand five hundred (Rs. 4500/-) (Indian Authors affiliated to Indian Institutes) and 90 USD (Foreign Authors) per article submitted. For Case Reports APC will be two thousand five hundred (Rs 2500/-) (Indian Authors affiliated to Indian Institutes) and 70 USD (Foreign Authors) per article submitted.

For Printed Issue Authors are required to pay Rs. 750/- extra for one Copy.

Review on Request under Fast Track/ tatkal scheme process: Review process will be fast tracked on request by author. (Rs 8000/ 150 USD for Research Article and 4500/90 USD for Case Report)

Article processing charges are required for

1. Journal Hosting System [OJS]
2. XML generation for Indexing
3. In-house copyediting and linguistic support
4. Pagination & typesetting
5. Inclusion in Crossref, giving a permanent DOI and enabling easy citation in other journals.
6. Archiving, where appropriate, in an internationally recognized, open access repositories.
7. Printing and binding of hard copies and its postage charges.

Publication of an article in Tropical Journal of Opthalmology & Otolaryngology is not contingent upon the author's ability to pay the charges. Neither is acceptance to pay the handling fee a guarantee that the paper will be accepted for publication. Authors that may not be able to pay they can request the editorial office to reduce the fee to an amount as per editorial office normes. We only accept payment of handling fee/ processing charges after manuscript has been accepted for publication.
